Space is a question of the mind. If you think there is. If you think there isn’t, well, there won’t be! Even if there is!

What they call as an ‘abundance mindset’ is a function of the mind. To be open and boundaryless in the mind accomplishes far more than what hierarchy can.

To have a seat at the table, doesn’t require a table. Or a seat for that matter.

Travel teaches abundance. For when you travel you look at the ‘them’ and ‘us’. Only to realise when the chairs are empty, anybody can sit! All of us are in the same ship.

It’s all in the cloud. When swirls of white pop the sky, the lakes respond with love.
There is a magical dance with the wind singing a new tune and the clouds waltzing to it.
In the grand ballroom that the lake seems to host.

The Qutub Minar is tall. With a seeming rush to reach the sky. But when you stand at its base, you realise that the rush isn’t a compromise on aesthetic. Or design, for that matter.
Function needn’t be at the expense of aesthetic. A win is a win, but an elegant win stands tall.

Real tall.

We are prisoners of our minds. Of our biases. The unconscious ones especially. The trouble with those is that we think we are truly free. We don’t recognise our prison term.
Freedom comes long after recognition of the world in the prison and the truth that lies beyond.

That recognition comes from open conversation with diverse people.

It comes from cultivating friendships across the spectrum.

And of course, it comes from travel.
Do pack your bags and go somewhere. You’ll shed some baggage you didn’t remember packing.

Raj Ghat in New Delhi, is nothing more than a plank. If you see it that way.
Yet you have millions of people visiting the place. It’s the memorial of THE Mahatma, you see.

The place reeks simplicity. With an eternal flame serving as the only far coat of luxury.
You think of the man and you realise a few things.
You grow tall with your deeds. With your lifestyle. With your message.
And then when you add love to the equation, you continue to stand tall. Long after you lay down.

Across the bridge, beyond the river and from behind the mountains, the Sun emerged. Announcing a new day and another opportunity to begin anew.
That is all that’s required. One more chance to give it a go.

To lean in isn’t giving in.
To give way isn’t giving up

Sometimes falling back is needed to move forward.

It’s not always about growing tall. It’s always about living on. And finding ways of finding your Sun!

The girls played well!
We were at the garden. The daughter and her friends. And me. Tasked with minding the girls.
Every such task I lap up with energy. For it teaches me the journeys that I have gone through and an opportunity to gawk at the magic of creation.
Amidst the games we played, the most enjoyed one was called “Yellow Flowers”. It had no rules and no boundaries. Other than running about and picking yellow flowers.

The morning reminded me that it takes very little to be happy. A child like imagination and curiosity will get us all there.

The pews seem to invite us with a steady stream of reflection of sunlight.
Welcoming, warm and without seeking reciprocity. We spent the next few hours in the church searching for some peace. It was a beautiful morning. A morning that stays fresh.

The inviting pews remind me of the state of the heart and soul that brings joy. To be warm. To stay radiant. To spread warmth without want.
