This man sat painting red stripes on a nondescript side step of a giant temple. His diligence enveloped the air around him.

Much of our work is like that. We are not always working on an orbit altering project or seeking to put a dent on the universe.

We must remember that the trick is not in ‘What’ we are working on, but rather ‘how’ we work on whatever we are working on.

Actually, its not a trick.

To watch a lotus leaf on water is a treat. For any droplet of water on it, becomes a pearl. The droplet floats on the leaf and runs around like a kid in a toy shop.

In what they offer, the leaf and the droplet teach a lesson or two. To be unaffected and yet remaining so close is one amongst them.
